GIG REVIEW – Equilibrium at O2 Islington Academy 6/10/14

In the smaller room of O2 Islington Academy, Equilibrium played a set that could only satisfy a death metal fan. There were emotions carried out through out the fanbase, which in this case , is the form of  mosh pits. Each member of the band did their duty to entertain the crowd, especially with bassist , Jen Majura whose smile was infectious and her performance which continued to give my respect for the women in metal. There was plenty of chaos with each song that was played, one definite highlight was the cover song for Skyrim, where even if you’re not a gamer, you would understand the reference. It is always a chilling feeling with whatever band, when the fans sing the lyrics back.  There is much excitement for the future of this band, especially with their new album, Erdentempel to promote through out their current tour.
