Classical music has always been the beehive of Barbican, so it’s always something different when an artist comes along and shakes things up.  It’s not often where I am usually not sitting down for a gig, as I am faced with a load a rowdy fans in a mosh pit.
Iron and Wine with a back up of 14 musicians filled the stage with melodic sounds embracing the audience with awe and imagination through his voice and acoustic guitar. It leaves you with a content feeling ,and the calming atmosphere in the room shows the success of a musician like Sam Beam with his catalog  of songs.
If at first look, his magnificent beard doesn’t make you curious of who the man is, then his voice and music will definitely turn you in to a fan.
